Grants & Sponsored Research Office
The Grants & Sponsored Research Office (GSRO) strives to build capacity at Del Mar College to promote and encourage faculty and staff to develop successful external funding proposals primarily from public (Federal and State) sources and related to instructional improvement. The GSRO also provides post-funding support to assist projects with start up processes and accounting management and tracking.

Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for receiving the 2007 Notification of Award. The funding
is awarded through the Defense Logistics Agency, Office of Small Business Programs. PTAC addresses the
need for increasing the type and number of small businesses selling goods and services to government
agencies. This PTAC award represents the third option on a five year Agreement originally awarded in
2004 and provides hands-on technical assistance to small businesses.
Strategic partners within the project include the Small Business Development Center, and the Del
Mar College Center for Economic Development.
